Looks like a solid update, looking forward to more. Also glad to see you made a transition into a new engine. I hope things continue to go well going forward.

That's fair enough. I hope you can eventually invest into some proper internet service.

LET'S GO! New animations new content. A long wait but a worthwhile one. Although I must say the version dates of release are definitely odd... For some reason it says that it was updated for the platforms during 2022 and 2023 instead of 2024. When the time arises I'll definitely come back to this and give it a rating. If there's one thing that does bug me about Itchio is that it is quite difficult to search and discover specific types of games even when using tags.

That's good to see, glad to witness the game further its development with some new content. I hope the patrons are having a good time with the new stuff.

Loving this new look quite a bit. Though I must say that Yukata... it is hiding quite a bit I must say. I do like the new look of our protagonist though. The hair feels way more fleshed out than in previous. The eyes too are looking phenomenal. It's a wonderful difference in quality. I quite like the sharp outlines there used to help really make certain aspects pop out. Best I would say is definitely the clothing and hair. It is good to see you make such progress on your project. Best of luck dude, I look forward to the day I can purchase it as a fully released product.

Glad to see some old stuff getting remade. It's going to be worth it.

Went in with low expectations and came out with a tiny golden nugget. Nothing too special but it was more expressive and story connected than expected. Not sure if the game is still getting updated but for the ending that is available... I'm quite satisfied. Only downside is there's not a whole lot of Candace content. A few minor spelling errors and clunky dialogue but outside of those small instances, fairly smooth sailing once you earn the money to blitz through some money choices.

Going to mention it here in case anyone ever finds this game again for whatever reason but... this game is on one hand technically abandoned and the other potentially to be remade. The long short of the story is that, according to the last Patreon Post in 2022 it states the following information:

- The original Laptop used to develop the game got lost in the move

- Lost their job due to downsizing thus had to move

- Working Part-Time with no real time to work on the games

It has been 2 years since this information has been disclosed. It is safe to say this project is for now abandoned/onhold. It will in the best case scenario be re-worked/re-made from scratch in a distant future where things are stable. That is all. Also no, I have not played this game due to a severe lack of screenshots.

Congrats on finishing the demo. Looking forward as to how the rest of the game develops. Keep up the wonderous work Boxman, there's no other artist out there like you I don't think.

Hopefully learning Godot will payoff later. I hope it all comes together proper, take the time you need. Though making it playable for Mac sounds like hell to convert.

Looking forward to Hiyori's developments. She seems like a nice character... though I wonder what happened in the first era to not have seen her again in the second. Best of luck to Shaye and Ms. Morgan.

Looking forward to it, glad I got your back. I gotchu covered. It makes me curious on how the story will be handled. Like if the story will be told tangentially where you can kind of change the past to make a better future or evade certain events with foresight from the future or a repeat playthrough. Either way, I look forward as to how you're going to progress with this project. I don't have too much time to look into the others but when I can I'll definitely give em a look. I hope your day is well dude.

Pretty solid dude, it is tough to say who is a favorite that's just how good the selection is. I wonder if at some point we can reminisce on previous scenes or the CGs directly. I did encounter a few glitchy elements to the game. Something I found was that, when re-loading a save from a previous version (from 1.2 in this case), attempting to do dates and the like that you've already finished may cause repeat interactions. And in doing so said scenes may progress or repeat causing points to be deducted and resume proper when leaving the selection menu (talk, date, etc.). Though in doing so in the case with Shay it gave me an option to mention having done the deed with the bakery stacked lady. I also noticed that, in attempting to talk with Shay while her character is still loading and the 'date' occurs, her model doesn't properly load until spoken to again after it. Outside of that... the only thing I think I am missing out on is the other riddle/trivia box. No idea if I screwed things up with the teacher to not finish Kim's Math homework. Unless that content isn't finished yet. My only other comment would be that, some of the CG models could use a bit of cleaning up. Like with Shay's for example; her sleeve collars are a bit weirdly transparent to the background. Otherwise, all of the ladies are quite good and have no complaints from me... aside from not being able to progress with the teacher and principal just yet. Keep up the great work, looking forward to more as you get the time develop it.

Yeah, things have actually gotten quite well since we last spoke. We no longer have a wood crisis. We were almost out of wood for over a few weeks but recently we've been getting more wood than I can split and stack in a day. I still got some stuff to work on but I'd rather be busy than just sad and cold. And very true, mistakes no matter if it is the same one, will only help you get better at what you're trying to do. This Spring is quite early but luckily we're getting more wood soon than what's available at the moment so it'll last a while hopefully. Though it means I've got quite a bit of shoveling to do since we had SO MUCH SNOW this year. It was super excessive and a real pain to work around. Visiting the game again reminded me how pleasant the OST is so I look forward still for what comes next. All best dude, looking forward to what's cooking.

PFFT I just left a comment on the 1.5 update. That's amazing! I am looking forward to it dude. WELCOME BACK! Congrats on the law degree. I'm glad to see you make quite a return to developing the game again. As for a patreon alternative that's much more freeing, I'd say SubscribeStar or Ko-Fi. Those two as far as I've seen are quite clean in how they treat their people. The new map sketch looks really nice. I am glad to see you are well under way to get back into it. Take your time and something I am most certain will blossom into something beautiful for all to enjoy. I can't wait to see the day it does come to steam and get the love it deserves and delivers. I will patiently await that day and buy it as soon as it is available. Good luck and to a fruitful future!

It's a bit overdue but I must say the new editions are quite nice. The artwork is quite beautiful and real sweet especially with the scene where the altar is placed. It is all around quite nice. But must say it is quite the godsend to have a gallery to check past interactions with a distinction between the CGs and the Events themselves. It's quite nice though I forgot just how much money I had left in the game's previous save (which I'm also very thankful works just fine) and managed to get both the alarm clock and the altar right away. Though I accidentally skipped some of that text. I hope you are well dude, it was quite an update leave on.

Take your time, you are making good progress regardless.

I'm happy to hear you guys were able to get 0.3 out. Can't wait to give it a go at some point. Happy Valentines day!

Looking forward to it dude, this one looks to be shaping up to be quite a unique experience. Best of luck to development.

I think a more scaled down version would probably fair better.

I gave the demo a go... I quite liked it. Real shame there isn't much in terms of spending your LV points anywhere else having bought the game proper. As funny as it is to be smacking big numbers at such a speed no enemy can respond, after a bit it kind of reminded me something. The potions are kind of become worthless the further you progress your HP and speed respectively. If there was something I would've liked it would be to have done something with any of the offspring that the Oni lass birthed. Aside from just printing money along with milk, I still enjoyed the time I spent with it. Even if the LV mini-game got a bit tedious after a while. Which fits but could use a bit more variety than just smacking the button three times in a row at just the right spot. My tip for those wanting to progress fast and efficiently: invest into dex first, then str, followed by vit after a certain point. You'll need quite a bit of both speed and damage and a certain amount of health to get passed all of it. Charms can and will carry you most of the way through notably the shield, sp heal, sp double, and sp+ per sec. If you have those 4 in use, you will heal more than any amount of damage any given enemy, tree included, can dish out.

Thank you greatly, this more than does what I've seen online over the past decade on YT. Thank you kindly. While I am aware of some surface level stuff having worked with RPGMaker on one project I never ended up publishing since I was never too confident in it. Though making it into a sort of "video" that I still got but never felt proud of since I could never really ground my ideas at the time. Right now though, I have a FIRM grasp on what I want to do for this new project idea. Ranging from how I want my game to function gameplay wise to how the story will be written. Since I have quite a bit of experience from reading and writing a novel of my own; having both judged and reviewed quite a bit of fiction since that time I got a good grasp on what I will need to do in order to pull off the sort of story I want to tell. Art wise I am still quite a bit of an amateur, but I'm certain I can develop that as I build toward the project. Mainly the idea I have for this RPG is that, you must form a bond with some monsters, face off against a corruptive force of nature that is enveloping the kingdoms both in the human and demon territories. The gameplay part that I want to make interesting, taking notes from various RPGs where in merging similar and particular items to create new ones, instead will be toward your party members which can become more human or monstrous in appearance depending on how the player wants to progress. Debating on whether or not to allow said protagonist to romance them and what not but, I'll figure that out when I get into the story planning stages proper.

That aside, what you've shared is definitely way more than what I needed to know before properly planning all of it out. I thank you greatly for taking the time to write this response. I am thinking of giving Godot a try or something else I've seen before that might be more fitting.

Best of luck to you, the artist, and the team putting together part 2. I hope you've all been well.

That's good to know, the character designs seen thus far have been quite good. Pardon the late response, had a lot come up as of late. I look forward to how it develops. Though... I wonder just how long will the protagonist last once he realizes how the drink affects the women around him. He got lucky jumping away from his cousin but how would things have faired if she properly pinned him? Either way, I don't often see games like this go through the summer heat in Japan. Most I've seen are usually visual novels or some light 2D games that don't go too far into things like the HEAT or the situations on the country side. Best of luck to you and your team.

I gave 0.2 a go and... it was rough. I had a rough time moving about and nearly died getting back after going to the store. Something that bothers me is that, no matter what keys I pressed I could not save. I am not sure if saving has been implemented yet or if it is bind to another key in the menu but nothing I hit it with worked. I hope that gets resolved because of the hydration meter depleting incredibly quick for what it is. I managed to get most of the scenes on the first go and I hope things get better optimized in terms of movement. It is still quite awkward with some stiff sprites not really having good in-betweens for movement. I really like it so far though, not sure if ntr will happen or what but, for what I did see it was great. Lad nearly lost his v-card after drinking a single can. Who knows how that would've went if he decided to let things "play out". Though the childhood friend is cute, the aunt... easily the best design in this game. Something I think should be adjusted script wise would be for the protagonist to call her "auntie" instead of just "aunt". And during the scene with the cousin, she calls our protagonist anon for some reason. Otherwise, I look forward as to how this game continues to develop.

That's fascinating. If I can ask, what sort of resources did you research when looking into importing your assets into Godot? I imagine finding these sorts of things on YT or some forum website to figure this out would be taxing. I'm thinking of making some test games on a few game engines and was curious of what kind of approach I should make in regards to creating assets or at the very least making them flexible to work with multiple should one not work out.

Reading this post has been quite informative as I don't see many developers really go through what it takes to both manage and refine their assets especially with a drastic change like the one made for this project. I hope your break helps you think more clearly and the team can prepare themselves proper to continue this project or the next one. Happy New Year, I hope you've been well.

Man what an update. A lot of bug catches, some new scenes (looking forward to Charlotte's bonus), life improvements and some additional quality of life improvements. I am happy to see you kick off the New Year like this. I hope your time away has been well. Can't wait to give this a go sometime later, it looks exciting.

Happy New Year. I'm glad to see a new update with more content to spare. This year is starting off pretty good and I can't wait to give it a go proper sometime soon. I hope you have been well.

Quite the update. I am looking forward as it develops. I am happy to see you've made so much progress this year and look forward to the next as you continue to both: foster a community without many language barriers and a game where people can have fun challenging each other's times.

Take the time you need. Also congratulations! Well deserved. I do not mind the wait as I know it will be of good quality.

Happy Halloween! I do like the logos there, they look clean. The Godot logo looks adorable. I do hope it can reach more people because there's really nothing like it. Looking forward to playing 0.1.5 later today when there's some proper time for it. 0.1.6 looks interesting.

I must say it is still pretty good visually for something that was made in just a month. Puts me in a good mood for Halloween tomorrow. I do hope more can be done with it. And I'm glad to hear more work is being done with a bit of variation to it. Looking forward to its development. Best of luck to all.

For what it's got at the moment, I feel a bit more visual variety would be nice. As far as text based lewd events go, it's pretty good. Some good word usage, distinctions on who is speaking, though I hope it can be finished. Best of luck to development.

Somehow managed to beat both mini-games. Phew... I had to use the num lock for the music one since it was a bit too uncomfortable for my hands to be scrunched so closely. You need enough to reach green for the first mini game and at least 26 for the second wave. The typing one was a lot of fun though since it really put my speed to the test. The big word one caught me off guard but I managed it last second. Sad I couldn't help the poor lad stuck hanging around. Looks alright if a bit simple. The one thing that kind of bothered me was that, there was no climax just a loop which I can forgive given just how early it is in development. Best of luck.

I have much to say about the game. It's pretty interesting and I wonder if more characters may become a part of the party. I've noticed however that there were errors in the script and at times I had trouble reading it at times on who was talking. Some of these errors were simple words either being slightly off or the word itself not being proper. If I could, I'd be able to easily make some adjustments with a little input from the developer on what was intended with some of the characters. To really help the script shine and feel a bit more natural to read to what we have now. Either way, something I think ought to have been done with the demo was to at least create an auto save point for when the player rests each time. I made it to the end with quite a bit of progress only for it to end and now be able to continue where I left off. Felt sad. But I see quite a bit of potential in this project with quite a nice number of monster girl designs. Hopefully we can get a bit more variation and some fun with these characters. I have a suggestion involving Arachne getting some coffee and ending up getting drunk, as spiders can get drunk off of coffee. Causing their webs to become a bit sporadic and overly excited. And Fenrir I feel like could have a scenario of playing catch to test speed with the reward being head pats. Something silly to lighten the mood of the game a bit.

Otherwise, I really like the concept and hope it can continue its development.

I'm glad to hear that. Personally, I've been working to prepare for the massive chill coming by moving wood around. So that when the snow comes, we'll have enough wood to fend off the cold. We'll just be sharing out treats this year. No adventuring but I will certainly be watching some classics like Scooby Doo on Zombie Island and The Witches Ghost. Love me some Hex Girls. I am doing relatively well with less weight weighing on me each day.

Looking forward to it. Glad to hear you've planned out the next phase. Plenty to work with, plenty of time to burn. Though I imagine uploading so much is quite heavy bandwidth wise. Take your time, looking forward to next week's release. Hallow's Eve it seems. I patently await the beginning of the next chapter into this game's development. I hope you are well.

Likewise. I do like witches and various types of monster girls. Ghosts too, spooky but sometimes friendly.

Haha, I'm glad I could help in any small way. Hmm. Halloween is my favorite time of year though there is sadness at times when I think too hard about it, I am certain about this. The thoughtfulness and considerations you've put your passion into will blossom and foster into something beautiful. That much I know. I am much healthier though as the cold weather set in, so too did some sadness and a mild bit of depression. Though at this moment in time I feel much calmer, even if there's a lot of struggling and frustration to come this winter. I know not my future, no one really does. So I share wisdom where I can with what I have experienced and witnessed in my dreams. For it is these dreams that lead to amazing discoveries and creations beyond what can be written. So keep at it on your own pace and may your ideas flourish, Happy Halloween.

Sure thing. I'll track down a way to give it a look. I am glad I could help. And no worries, take all the time you need when replying.

Looking forward to it.
